Katherine is a PhD student in Bioethics and Health Policy at Johns Hopkins, and previously worked as a Health Science Policy Analyst, stationed with the NIH. She holds an M.A in Bioethics from New York University. Her primary research interests are in the ethical and policy issues related to psychedelic research and clinical applications. Her work specifically focuses on Oregon’s Psilocybin Services Program, efforts to balance safety and access within psychedelic policies more generally, informed consent, and de-biasing methods for psychedelic research. Other broad interests include research ethics and aesthetics.
